About the Role
We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented digital marketing assistant to help bring NYSA’s digital presence to life. The role focuses on social media content, content scheduling, and supporting the development of digital campaigns. It’s a hands-on position with the opportunity to contribute to real projects that support our programs and connect youth with the community.
What You’ll Do
- Create social media content using Canva (posts, simple graphics, light video)
- Schedule and manage content across NYSA’s social channels
- Help maintain a consistent and organized presence across platforms
- Develop templates and reusable content for ongoing use
- Create visual assets to support campaigns and communications
- Assist with setting up paid digital ads (search, display, and video) in Google Ads
What We’re Looking For
- You’re comfortable using Canva and have an eye for clean, simple design
- You have some experience creating content through school, personal projects, or work
- You’re organized and able to manage multiple tasks while keeping things consistent
- You’re reliable and able to follow direction while working independently
- You’re interested in marketing, communications, or digital media and want to build practical experience
Education / Background
Currently studying, or have an interest in, marketing, communications, design, or a related field.
Eligibility (Canada Summer Jobs Program)

- Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person with refugee protection
